Contact

Reach NarrativeForge support directly.

Email support@narrativeforge.ai with a concise description of the problem. Support requests are reviewed during normal business operations, although response time may vary during private beta periods and major releases.

Include with your request

A few concrete details usually shorten the path to an answer.

Please include the NarrativeForge version, macOS version, Mac model if relevant, the feature or workflow involved, the exact wording of any error, and the steps that led to it. A screenshot is often useful. Do not send an entire confidential manuscript or voice-source recording unless support specifically requests a limited sample and you are comfortable sharing it.

  • NarrativeForge version and build number
  • macOS version and Mac model
  • The project type and imported file format
  • Exact error text and steps to reproduce it
  • A redacted screenshot or short screen recording when helpful

Installation and launch

Help with downloading, opening, permissions, and local components.

Support can help with application installation, macOS security prompts, model or voice-component setup, local storage requirements, helper processes, first launch, updates, and launch failures. Never send passwords, API keys, recovery codes, or other credentials by email.

Imports and projects

Help with FDX, Fountain, PDF, manuscripts, chapters, and project recovery.

When reporting an import issue, identify the source application and export format, such as Final Draft FDX, Fountain, PDF, DOCX, RTF, TXT, EPUB, or a Scrivener compile. Describe whether the issue concerns scene detection, character recognition, chapter structure, formatting, file access, revision matching, or project persistence.

Voices and generation

Help with auditions, custom voices, playback, and failed generations.

Support can investigate voice availability, voice creation, consent and provenance records, narrator or character assignments, Instant Listen, canceled or repeated generation errors, pronunciation, local engine behavior, and exported audio. Use only voice material you own or are authorized to use.

Privacy and deletion

Privacy requests have a dedicated path.

For access, correction, deletion, portability, objection, opt-out, or appeal requests, email support@narrativeforge.ai with the subject line Privacy Request. The privacy policy explains local project data, optional online processing, diagnostics, retention, service providers, and available rights.

Accessibility

Report barriers, not just bugs.

If keyboard navigation, VoiceOver, text scaling, contrast, motion, audio controls, captions, focus order, or another accessibility need prevents you from using the website or application, describe the affected screen and the assistive technology involved. Accessibility reports are treated as product issues, not edge cases.

Billing and access

Beta invitations, purchases, and subscriptions depend on the channel used.

NarrativeForge has not announced final public pricing. For private beta access, include the email address used to join the list. If a future purchase is made through Apple or another storefront, include the non-sensitive transaction or order information supplied by that storefront, but never send full payment-card details.

Security reports

Report suspected vulnerabilities responsibly.

Email support@narrativeforge.ai with the subject line Security Report and include clear reproduction steps, the affected version or URL, and the potential impact. Do not access other users' information, disrupt service, destroy data, or publicly disclose an unresolved issue. NarrativeForge does not currently promise a bug-bounty payment.

Feedback

Creative workflow feedback is welcome when it is specific.

Useful feedback explains the job you were trying to complete, where the interface or performance broke your concentration, what you expected to happen, and what actually happened. Please do not send copyrighted scripts, private production materials, or third-party voice recordings without permission.
