Scrivener Writer Bridge

Keep writing in the binder. Hear the production in the studio.

NarrativeForge is designed around a compile-and-reconcile workflow for Scrivener, supporting screenplay and novel projects without attempting to replace the writing environment authors already depend on.

Compile

Send a clean performance draft, not the entire project bundle.

Use a NarrativeForge-oriented compile preset to export screenplay scenes, chapters, or manuscript sections with stable identifiers where possible. The source link remains available for returning to the right section in Scrivener.

Reconcile

Update changed chapters without recasting the book.

Watched exports and incremental reconciliation are designed to preserve established voices, pronunciations, and performance choices while identifying new, changed, moved, or removed material.

Two creative modes

Use the same bridge for screenplay rehearsal or audiobook development.

The manuscript structure determines the workflow. Screenplays emphasize scenes, cast, and cue timing; novels emphasize narration, dialogue, chapters, pronunciation, and long-form consistency.
