NarrativeForge Studio

From feedback to a clear, reviewable revision.

Planned cloud expansion for writers, editors, producers and beta readers. Bring the original note, revised passage and creative decision into one review workflow.

Planned cloud program

Send a specific draft. Keep the context.

The planned browser review room opens a frozen screenplay, chapter or scene. Invite reviewers to selected material without requiring an app installation. Access controls and explicit sharing boundaries keep private research and unused alternatives outside the review.

A notes inbox that remembers the decision.

Each note retains its author, draft and original passage. Track Open, Needs clarification, Planned, Addressed and Confirmed, with Declined and Deferred available. The writer addresses the note; the designated reviewer confirms it.

Show how you answered the note.

The revision response package is the centerpiece: original feedback, before-and-after passages, your explanation and related changes in other scenes. Link one note to several changes and preserve questions that remain unresolved.

Listen to the revision together.

A later increment adds version-bound audio comments and before-and-after listening with consistent casting. A note on an older recording stays attached to that performance, with an explicit path to the current passage.

One system for studios and reader groups.

Private reader rooms build on the same review system. Guest reviewing is planned to be free; paid plans and team administration are not announced. Ownership transfer and organizational controls follow demonstrated team needs.

What exists on Mac, and what comes next.

Mac includes local received-work and review foundations. Browser invitations, shared notes rounds and the connected response-package experience remain planned cloud work. These pages do not announce their release.
