A basic script reader generally maps text elements to voices and plays them in order. That can reveal typos, awkward phrases, and broad pacing issues.
Performance development
NarrativeForge adds dramatic context, relationship choices, natural-language direction, beat-level retakes, casting comparisons, and memory that survives revisions.
Choose based on the job
For quick proofreading, a built-in reader may be enough. For scene development, rehearsal, production exploration, or multi-character audiobook work, a performance-centered environment provides a different level of control.
