Behind the resources
Useful work, with its context intact.
These resources exist to help you make progress on a story and understand the product we are building. You should be able to tell a writing exercise from a product demonstration and a future direction from an available capability.
Who is NarrativeForge Editorial?
NarrativeForge Editorial is the publishing label for resources produced for NarrativeForge by RumblePoint LLC. It is not a separate magazine or a claim of a large editorial staff. Guides and examples may be drafted or revised with AI assistance. The publisher is responsible for the content and welcomes corrections.
Examples are practice material.
The Last Key, The Room Facing East and The Emergency Biscuit Meeting are original fictional exercises created for this website with AI assistance. Characters and scenes are illustrative, not customer projects, endorsements or evidence of finished app functionality. You may adapt the downloadable practice pieces for your own learning.
Dates describe the content.
Publication dates identify the first edition of a resource in this website repository. Update dates change when its substance changes. A content date is not an app release date. Studio notes describe the work being delivered and do not stand in for independently verified product availability.
Writing comes first.
The product direction is to give novelists and screenwriters a familiar place to work, with planning, revision and optional assistance connected to the same story. These resources reflect that priority: start with a useful writing decision, then explain where a tool can help.
